Rumah adalah tempat dimana aq ingin melepas semua beban kuliah... Namun berada di rumah serasa asing bagiku. Ku ingin suasana rumah yang tenang seperti 6 tahun lalu.. Kemana semua itu pergi? Lalu harus lari kemana aq sekarang? tag ada jawaban untuk pertanyaan itu sekarang. Masih tetap berada dalam memory otakq apa yang telah terjadi dulu sampai sekarang. Haruskah aq merasa bersalah jika aq menguak sebuah kebenaran? yang pada akhirnya mengacaukan segalanya. mungkin saja jika semua itu tag terjadi hari ini aq masih merasakan hangatnya suasana rumah di tengah-tengah mereka.

The Lesson

1. What is the meaning of the title The Lesson

There is a title of drama namely The Lesson, it means about hour- long alteration between a professor and a pupil. It’s reduced to meaningless and disturbing verbiage of the information. The Lesson is concerned with the meaningless of meaning that is a way to enrich ourselves with knowledge. How much you really understanding and interested, that the pupils earn nothing of her lesson. It will make the audience are suppose to learn all the more. And the writer concludes that the lesson is necessary for everyone, everything in human life is an important lesson.

2. Who is the character on The Lesson?
There are three main characters in this drama
a. The Professor, aged about 50 to 60 years old.
b. The young pupil who aged 18.
c. And the maid, aged about 45 to 50 years old.

3. What is the message from The Lesson?
The messages from The Lesson are the players on the lesson drama show that status versus control. The character professor in here is insanity people, He underestimated his pupils who very clever in multiplication. It’s so irrational statement and bizarre. As equal in Indonesia that has a portrayal of status control. There are professors underestimate their pupils as people who are ignorant. This phenomenon keeps on happening keeps on being unsolved, and we can do nothing.

4. What is the theme in The Lesson?
The theme is man among man and the society. This play, by Ionesco is a drama that satirizes totalitarianism in education, politics, language, psychology, and sexuality. The play is set in the study of a professor who tutors one student at a time.

5. Synopsis in The Lesson
The Lesson, by Ionesco is a drama that satirizes totalitarianism in education, politics, language, psychology, and sexuality This play act is about status and control. We see a confident young girl come for lessons from a renowned professor. She dominates the Professor at the beginning with her youth and confidence, but soon the Professor begins to take over control of the girl until at the end she is killed by him, with the assistance of his housekeeper, and the stage is set to begin again with another young girl. The play is designed to be performed cyclically so that the end is really the beginning and the inevitable play of wits between youth and age, power and manipulation is staged over and over again as a part of the game of life itself. Another thing is the repetitive scenes which show that the pupil gets a toothache, headache, earache, and eyes ache. Every time the pupil complains, the professor ignores her. Meanwhile, the maid always warns the professor every time the pupil complains about her aches that the symptom already started, but the professor always ignores her warnings.
This play represents scenes and cyclical plot, of which we could do nothing to solve it. In other words, there is an unfinished problem. Besides, the problem presented in the play is not clear enough, and in addition, the characters involved have no clear feature and bizarre. The only feature clearly seen is that the characters in this play have the feature of commedia dell arte: stupid master and clever servant. Therefore, this play is considered as comic tragedy.
This advertisement reminds me to the professor in Indonesia, it might be the senior citizens, cleverer people, those who have power or higher status, and those who have the characteristics as a professor, who are considered trustworthy and well-experienced. Others who are called as the pupil, are not considered trustworthy, therefore they are not allowed to speak. Whenever the pupil speaks, people will not listen to her/him and they the pupil will be considered as inexperienced.

 Issue
On the Freedom Writer’s movie there is diversity of race on one are namely Long Beach. There are white people as high class than another class, Jews, Latin, Cambodians, Chinese and black people deemed to be race that identical with drugs, poorness, inanity and free sex. They are battled to get palatinate on this area. They are killing another race to keep footing the existential of their race.
 Critic
Sociology is related to the description of the ways people adapt by themselves with the certain societies, the description of socialization mechanism, the cultural study process where the individuals are allocated to receive some roles in that social structure. Sociology is also related to the social changing processes that happen gradually or revolutionary with some effects of that changing. Sociology of literature is the fundamental concepts, principles, and methods of sociology, analyzes the influence of social and cultural factors upon human behavior, and evaluates effect of group processes, social classes, stratification, and basic institutions on contemporary society (Swingewood, 1972).
Based on the issue from that movie, the writer disagrees with that issue. In this world there are many races that live on each country. In condition that diversity of race has increase kind of culture and behavior in the world. But, existence of diversity race rarely makes an individual social action that evaluates effects of group process like a battle of power. In this movie diversity of social class is very visible in cases where white people as high class than another class and black people deemed to be race that identical with drugs, poorness, inanity and free sex.
